Do Your Thermometers Measure in Celsius or Fahrenheit?
Our thermometers are capable of measuring temperatures in both Fahrenheit and Celsius. However, our digital thermometers default to reading in Fahrenheit, so you'll simply need to change it over to Celsius if that's your preference.
How Do You Use Non-Contact Temperature Sensors?
If you want to use a non-contact temperature sensor, you simply face it toward the forehead of whoever's temperature is being measured, and then press the trigger of the device. This is done a few inches away from the patient's head, and after a couple of moments, you'll receive the reading.
What is the Accuracy of the Non-Contact Thermometer?
The non-contact thermometer offers temperature sensors which can pick up an accuracy of +/- 0.2 degrees Celsius. They can also detect accurate readings of +/- 0.4 degrees Fahrenheit.
